Five Incredible Runners Raise Over £2,300 for Lifelites at the London Landmarks Half Marathon
On Sunday 6 April 2025, five fantastic fundraisers took on the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of Lifelites, raising more than £2,300 to help children with life-limiting conditions across the UK.
Running through the iconic streets of London, our amazing team – Richard, Caroline, Rosie, Lee, and Emily – not only conquered the 13.1-mile challenge, but also helped to change lives by ensuring more children in palliative care have access to assistive technology that gives them opportunities to communicate, play, and engage with the world around them.

For Richard, who ran alongside his partner Caroline, Lifelites’ mission hit especially close to home.
“I have two young children and I couldn’t imagine not being able to communicate with them,” he said. “As a collective, we’ve made more than five children’s lives better – it’s amazing. We’d love to run for Lifelites again.”
Rosie shared her motivation:
“My husband is a Freemason and they do a lot for Lifelites, so he asked if I fancied running and I always say yes! It was a mostly flat and fun route, with a great atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend others to run for Lifelites – just do it, you won’t regret it.”
Lee described his experience as more than just a race:
“This has been an amazing experience – not only the run itself but the whole build-up. The Lifelites team has been fantastic. If you’re thinking of doing something for Lifelites, crack on – they’ll guide and support you every step of the way.”
For Emily, it was all about the children:
“Children are the most beautiful gift in the world. We need to make them smile and make them happier in life. Lifelites are the most beautiful, kind people and they’re a charity you should support.”

We are so proud and grateful for everything this group has achieved. The money raised will help us continue to provide life-changing technology to children with life-limiting conditions at our palliative care partners, giving them a chance to communicate, learn, and play.
From all of us at Lifelites: a massive, heartfelt thank you.
