Where did it all start?
Lifelites began in 1999 as a Masonic millennium project, and although it is now an independently registered charity and well established in its own right, we are still incredibly lucky to have the support of Masonic Provinces across the British Isles.
The structure of Freemasonry into local networks means that they are able to specifically fund the Lifelites project for life-limited and disabled children from their community. We have been able to provide thousands of pounds of life-changing assistive technology to many of our projects thanks to their support.
Freemasons from across the country recently supported us with one of our biggest fundraising events to date, Lift for Lifelites. The challenge saw our chief executive travel to every Province in England and Wales in weird and wonderful forms of transport provided by Freemasons, raising a phenomenal £104,000. You can read more about it here.
Can your Lodge support Lifelites?
Despite the fantastic support we are already getting, there is a constant demand for our services and technology is developing fast, so we are always in need of further support. Are you a Freemason who could encourage your Lodge to support Lifelites? If so, here are a few ways you could fundraise for us:
If you would like to speak to someone at Lifelites about any of these opportunities, please get in touch. You can call us on 0207 440 4200 or email Sam Davies on firstname.lastname@example.org.
