Why our runners chose Lifelites

The London Landmarks event has grown into one of the premier half-marathons in the country since it started in 2018. Thousands of runners of all abilities and ages took part this year, making it the most popular to date.

Running through the iconic streets of London, our incredible team conquered the 13.1-mile challenge. In doing so, they helped to change lives. Their incredible effort will ensure more children in palliative care have access to assistive technology that gives them the opportunity to communicate, play, and engage with the world around them in ways that would otherwise be impossible.

Cathy Talbot looked back on the event:

“Race day was something special! Meeting the team beforehand and seeing them out on the course, cheering us, gave me such a boost. Lifelites is an extraordinary charity, one that genuinely care about its fundraisers and the journey they go on.”

Richard Hill shared what motivated him to take part:

“The motivation was to push myself into a new challenge. Running for a charity that I’ve supported before is a fantastic feeling and I’ve got a plan now to go for a 50k challenge to push myself again and raise some more awareness and funds.”
