FAWfilling Futures
Project Summary
At Five Acre Wood School, supported by FAWfilling Futures, we provide specialist education for over 850 pupils aged 5–19, including 40 children within our Sensory Learning Approach who have profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). Many have complex medical needs, life-limiting conditions, sensory impairments and significant communication challenges, requiring highly personalised pathways and intensive daily support.
We are seeking Lifelites technology, including a Magic Carpet, sensory PODs, Tilt Table, iClick switches, COSMO and iPads, to embed into structured, individualised learning sessions. These reactive, accessible tools will enable pupils to engage through minimal movement, touch or supported positioning, developing cause-and-effect understanding, communication, physical skills and emotional regulation.
Aligned with Education, Health and Care Plan targets and delivered through a multidisciplinary approach, this technology will strengthen pupil voice, independence and wellbeing, creating motivating, inclusive experiences that enhance quality of life both in school and at home.
