Every year, Lifelites holds a free conference for children's hospice staff from across the country. Held in Birmingham, the day is a chance for delegates to see new equipment, network, share best practice, and get tips and tricks on getting the most out of the Lifelites technology for the children they care for. It also marks the beginning of the application process for all children's hospice projects that we hope to donate a technology package to in 2020/21.
Delegates attended the following sessions throughout the day:
At the end of the conference, we had two inspirational speeches by hospice staff Nikki Culverwell from The Donna Louise as well as our Lifelites patron Sarah Ezekiel. Sarah has Motor Neurone Disease and has become an Eyegaze superuser and artist. Watch her absolutely inspiring video and our conference video below.
We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to our 2019 conference and helped make it such an incredible day!
Many thanks to everyone who attended our sold out Lifelites Hospice Staff Conference 2018, where we focused on using technology creatively for children in hospices.
Our 2017 conference was a fantastic opportunity for children's hospice staff to come together and learn about using technology to make precious memories with the children they care for.
