Navigate Funded Technology:

AV1 is a telepresence robot that acts as a child’s presence in the classroom or playground when they can’t physically be present or take part. Controlled via an app on a tablet, the child is able to see, hear and speak to their friends and teacher from their home or hospital bed. AV1 enables children to connect, learn and belong within their school community.

Portable?	Carry handle to easily pick up AV1 and its own backpack to move it between classrooms or take on school trips

The AV1 robot requires a yearly subscription to operate, this will be included in the package of technology for 4 years. Services will need to consider funding the subscription beyond this through their own funding.
