In May 2019, our chief executive Simone Enefer-Doy embarked on a 3,000 mile fundraising road trip to visit 48 landmarks in England, Wales and the Crown Dependencies in just 15 days. She asked volunteers to help her get to each stop, and was given lifts to each landmark in a truly weird and wonderful variety of transport.
Simone undertook this incredible challenge in order to raise funds and awareness for our vital work providing life-changing technology to every children’s hospice across the British Isles. We're delighted to announce that we have raised to date is ... £51,000.52 and counting!
We were completely blown away by the support we received along the way and thanks to our supporters, we got to visit some beautiful parts of the country in a truly eclectic mix of transport. We visited Bleinheim Palace, Goodwood, and the National Space Centre in transport including a canal boat, a classic Rolls Royce, a Tuk Tuk, a Lamborghini and many many more. See this year's route plan here.
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to support us. You can see a full list here.
We are still collecting sponsorship, so if you'd still like to support Simone, you can donate online here to help the children we support.
