Keech Hospice Care

We have been supporting the children at Keech Hospice Care since 2000, and this year, we will donate our latest package of magical technology to our lovely friends at the children's hospice Keech Hospice Care in Luton. At one of our visits, we met Lois who at the time was six years old and had severe spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy and epilepsy. She was one of the first to try out the technology donated by Lifelites.

Her mum said: "Lois is a very clever and funny little girl in a body that doesn't do as it's told. She knows exactly what she wants but is unable to tell us, which is heart-breaking. We have tried communication aids in the past, but they don't allow her a great level of independence. To have this technology available for her to use more independently to communicate is a dream come true. It takes her a step towards having the voice she deserves."
