Your support could help change the lives of children with life limiting conditions.

By remembering Lifelites in your will, you can help us support children with life limiting conditions for generations to come. The technology we donate doesn't come cheap, and we are only able to continue donating it because of people like you.

We don’t know what the future of assistive technology holds, but we know that it has the potential to change the lives of children with short lives. We need your support to help children and their families experience unforgettable, unique memories they can cherish.

I have pledged to leave a gift in my will to Lifelites, so that when I have passed, as well as making sure my family are taken care of, I can rest assured that the work of this terrific charity can continue to give children a chance to escape the confines of their condition. Please join me in considering leaving a gift in your will to Lifelites."

How to leave a gift to Lifelites

Writing or amending a Will can be fairly simple and inexpensive, and makes sure that your wishes will be followed. If you wish to leave a gift in your Will to Lifelites, you will simply need to ask your solicitor or Will writer to include Lifelites’ details.

The information you will need is:

Charity number: 1165791

Creating your Will

There are different types of gifts you can leave Lifelites in your Will. Every gift will make a difference to someone who needs our support in the future, so if you’re thinking of leaving us a gift, thank you.
Below are the types of gifts you can leave us in your Will:

  • A Share of Your Estate: After you have provided for your loved ones, you can choose to leave a share of what is left to charity. This is known as a residuary gift.
  • A Fixed Sum: You might choose to leave a fixed amount of money to Lifelites, which is often referred to as a pecuniary gift.
  • A Specific Item: You may wish to leave a personal possession or specific investment, for example, a piece of jewellery, shares, or other gifts.

Updating your existing Will

If you’ve already written a Will, and you want to add a gift to Lifelites, you can do this by drafting a document called a codicil. A codicil is simply an addition, amendment or supplement to your existing Will - without changing the terms of your current will. You can do this yourself but it is recommended that you seek expert advice to make sure everything is filled out correctly. The codicil must be kept with your Will.
