There were smiles all around yesterday as we visited Rainbows children's hospice in Loughborough.
The new package, which contained state of the art technology such as the Eyegaze and a Lifelites first in assistive music, an 'Ensemble', was greeted with much excitement from the care team and Chief Executive Geoff Ellis.
Geoff Ellis said: "This technology is great. It's wonderful to have such an amazing donation and brilliant to see how excited the staff were. But it's not just technology Lifelites provides and it's the ongoing relationship, the training and technical support, that is so important to making this work."
Support for the package at Rainbows came from the Provincial Grand Lodges of Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire and Rutland, among others, who have raised and donated over £30,000 between them.
