Magical Installations
The Lifelites team travelled to Essex to deliver a brand new package of magical technology to the children at Havens Hospices. Whilst we were there we met Ruby, Jamie and Joseph who loved having a go on all the brand new tech such as our specially adapted iPads loaded with games.
We also delivered a brand new package of life-changing technology to the children using the services at The Donna Louise which provides hospice care for children & young people. We spent the day training staff on how to use VR to travel the world and showed them how to play Xbox games projected on the ceiling, as you can probably imagine we had a lot of fun!
Finally, we visited the beautiful county of Cornwall to make a very special donation of life-changing technology to the children receiving care at Children's Hospice South West's Little Harbour.
We'd like to say an extra special thank you to all who made this possible, in particularly the Mark Benevolent Fund. Their continued support enables us to provide every children's hospice across the British Isles with a magical package of equipment and the necessary staff training to go with it.
Magical Gift Aid Awareness Day
Earlier this month we took part in Gift Aid Awareness Day to help raise awareness of the importance of Gift Aid. Did you know that £560 million in Gift Aid goes unclaimed every year? Choosing to Gift Aid your donation is at no extra cost to you but means charities like us get an extra 25% in donations from the government. This extra funding makes a world of difference to the children we support, so please make sure you tick the box the next time you donate.
Can you help Lifelites make 2020 a really special year for children in hospices?
