There were smiles all round as an army of Easter bunnies hopped into The Children's Trust, Shooting Star House, Richard House Children's Hospice and Demelza South East London before Easter, after Lifelites teamed up with REED West End to deliver a mountain of Easter eggs.
James Hunt from Lifelites said: “We had no problem egging volunteers on for this: they hopped right into the spirit of things and I think they had a thumping good time visiting the hospice and handing out the eggs to the children.”
Award-winning charity Lifelites provides specialist technology to children in every children’s hospice across the British Isles. The cutting edge equipment empowers the young people cared for by hospices, who have complex and life threatening healthcare needs, to communicate, be creative and take control for themselves.
The eggs were donated to Lifelites by REED West End and their clients. Chloe Skipper, Business Manager at the company said: "We are delighted to donate for a second year, hundreds of Easter Eggs to the amazing local children's Charity, Lifelites. We'd like to thank all of Reed West End's clients for all their efforts in rallying up their teams to participate in this year’s campaign, those that are familiar with our annual Easter Egg Campaign and those new business in the area who have kindly and generously donated too. We'd also like to thank the 'Easter bunny's' here at Reed who have been running around the West End for the past few weeks to collect these Easter Eggs - We hope we have succeeded in bringing smiles to the children at Lifelites this Easter and would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of everyone who took part, to express our genuine gratitude for the work that the staff at Lifelites does every day."
