Magical corporate partners
Our magical corporate partners Atos invited us to showcase the incredible equipment that we donate at their digital experience evening. The Lifelites team demonstrated how to use and get the most out of our technology to more than 100 enthusiastic Atos employees and technology experts.
Another one of our magical corporate partners, BMJ, invited us to a fundraising event. The summer concert was 80's themed and it really was a blast (from the past).
A big thank you to Atos and BMJ for inviting us to such fun events and for their continued support. If you are interested in becoming a corporate partner, please visit our corporate partnerships section.
This month we were busy canvassing for votes to win funding from the GamesAid, the charity of the UK gaming industry. This year we've done something extra special and developed the Lifelites Mobile Gaming Hub, a portable unit that can go wherever the child is and offers all the assistive technology needed to play video games. We really need funding to donate more so that we can bring the joy of gaming to as many children in hospices as possible. If you work in the gaming industry or are studying a games related course, you can vote for us by signing up with GamesAid and filling out the voting card sent to your email, just make sure you do so before the August 15. Read more about the GamesAid vote here.
The Lifelites training team got together to review all the new equipment that we will be donating to children in hospices this year. This is one of the most rewarding parts of the process as we take a moment to look at what has been achieved so far and begin to get excited about dropping off the magical packages of equipment to this years projects. The installation phase starts in September, so make sure you follow us on social media to keep up to date.
