Hundreds of youngsters at 8 children’s hospices across London and the South East have received special visits from an army of Easter bunnies this week after children’s charity Lifelites teamed up with REED West End to deliver chocolate eggs.
Deri Jones from Lifelites said: “We had no problem egging volunteers on for this: they hopped right into the spirit of things and I think they had a thumping good time visiting the hospices and handing out the eggs to the children.”
Award-winning charity Lifelites provides specialist technology to youngsters in every children’s hospice across the UK and Ireland.
The eggs were donated to Lifelites by REED West End who worked with their contacts in local businesses to build an Easter egg mountain of over 400 eggs. Chloe Skipper, Business Manager at the company said: ““REED West End work with all sorts of companies throughout the area and we’ve done this for many years. People love to be involved in something out of the ordinary, and helping to build an Easter egg mountain for children in hospices has really inspired them this year."
