Work in the games industry? Make your voice heard
Voting for the GamesAid charities opened on 15 August and Lifelites has been nominated again.
This year we need your vote more than ever before. If you work in the games industry, please go to www.gamesaid.org to sign up and vote.
GameAid is the charity arm of the gaming industry supporting small charities to make a difference to disadvantaged children through technology. In order to qualify for this important funding, Lifelites needs GamesAid members to cast their vote for us before 5 September. If you work in the games industry it’s easy to join GamesAid and it's free but you must be a member in order to vote.
We put gaming and technology at the heart of everything we do: from launching Enable Gaming with LSBU to providing severely disabled children in hospices with opportunities to play and learn on the latest games consoles, tablets and touch screen computers.
Money from GamesAid would go directly to Lifelites projects across the country and fund exciting equipment like iPads and the revolutionary eye-tracking Eyegaze: technology that all the care teams and children we work with are telling us they urgently need so the children can to play games and participate with their friends and brothers and sisters.
Can you help Lifelites make 2020 a really special year for children in hospices?
