Do you work in the video games industry? If you do, then you’re eligible to vote for Lifelites to receive funding from GamesAid.
Every year GamesAid, the charity of the video games industry, tirelessly raises hundreds of thousands of pounds, and then votes for charities to receive a portion of it. Last year Lifelites was one of these charities and received an incredible £95,400.
This money has enabled Lifelites to do things it never thought possible. We have been able to deliver accessible technology to terminally ill and disabled children at every children’s hospice across the British Isles. We have also been able to research brand new technologies and begin to introduce them into hospices.
The technology we provide is life changing, and enables a child who might be held back by their illness or disability to play games, be creative, communicate and control something for themselves.
In order to receive this crucial funding once again and continue our work we need your vote! You must first register to become a member of GamesAid (don’t worry, it’s free!) Then you’ll be sent an electronic polling card, which you can use to vote for Lifelites. The voting is open from Wednesday August 16th – September 6th.
If you have any questions about Lifelites or the work do, please get in touch on info@lifelites.org or 0207 440 4200.
(from Wednesday August 16th)
Can you help Lifelites make 2020 a really special year for children in hospices?
