Following on from a successful charity golf day in aid of our charity, Capco – owners of iconic London landmarks such Olympia and Covent Garden – stepped up their support for Lifelites over the festive period.
Jill Pett, Director of HR & CR for Capco explained: “At the end of last year, we gave all Capco staff a £500 bonus to be donated to one of the charities that we worked with during 2015 and Lifelites was shortlisted to the final three. Now the votes have been counted, I am delighted to present you with a cheque for £30,000 on behalf of our employees who opted for you to receive their contribution. We sincerely hope that this will make a significant contribution the excellent work you are planning during 2016.”
Lifelites Chief Executive Simone Enefer-Doy said: “We are also very excited to adopted by such a prestigious London company and are amazed with this donation from our Covent Garden neighbours. It’s wonderful that their staff there have recognised the importance of our work for terminally ill and disabled children using London’s children’s hospice services. Thank you to everyone there for their support."
