We were delighted to visit Jersey Hospice Care at the end of August to bring them a brand new package of life-changing technology. They received lots of exciting new technologies including new iPads and the Tilt Table, one of Lifelites newest pieces of technology.
Though sadly we couldn’t make it over to Jersey to celebrate in person due to ongoing restrictions, we held an amazing celebration over zoom. We were joined by the Jersey Freemasons whose generous donations made this possible.
Jersey is just the first of many new packages we hope to donate over the next year. Read more about the other hospices we hope to donate to here and find out how you can help make this possible.
Following 15 years leading the development of the charity, Lifelites founding CEO is now retiring from this role. We are therefore looking for the new leader for our small and friendly team, to take us forward into our next chapter.
Interested? Or know someone who would be a perfect fit to join our amazing team? You can find out all the info you need here.
During August we celebrated not one but two magical days, World Book Lovers Day and World Photo Day. Both days are close to our hearts here at Lifelites. Books and storytelling are a huge part of every child’s life and we want to ensure life-limited and disabled children don’t miss out. Our POD sensory tent plays a huge part in allowing life-limited and disabled children to immerse themselves in their own worlds or the fictional worlds of books. Find out more about this incredible piece of technology here.
We love seeing photos of life-limited and disabled children using the magical technology we donate. It’s a guaranteed way of putting a smile on our faces and we love sharing these with you so you can enjoy them too. They provide a great reminder of just how important the technology we donate can be.
