Over 70 people bopped the night away with the Provincial Grand Master of Middlesex at the Lifelites Ball on Saturday organised by local Masons.
In the luxurious setting of the Lensbury Club, Teddington, generous souls reached into their wallets to stand a chance of winning a selection of great prizes, including what must have been a year’s supply of chocolate.
The final total raised is yet to be announced but the money will go towards the Lifelites project at Shooting Star children’s hospice in Hampton who care for children from Middlesex. You may remember that Lifelites unveiled their latest project at the hospice earlier in September.
The organisers said: “Lifelites is a fantastic charity that does so much good for disabled and life-limited children in our Province and around the country. We’ve been running this ball for a number of years now and have raised thousands of pounds for charity. It’s such a fun way to make a difference.”
The Ball is just the latest in a string of fundraising initiatives from the Province of Middlesex, including the London to Brighton Master’s Ride, which Lifelites are set to benefit from again in 2014.
The London to Brighton Master’s Ride will take place on 21 June and is open to anyone. Declare your interest today and email Deri Jones: email@example.com.
