Introducing Simone, the awards said ""Everyone at AbilityNet has been deeply touched by the energy and enthusiasm of the team at Lifelites and the impact of their work on the lives of so many childiren and their families"
Children with life-limiting illnesses are often cared for in one of the UK's 44 hospices. Being away from family and friends can be lonely and deeply upsetting, especially at a time when they are physically and emotionally fragile.
Lifelites won the Accessibility Award at the UK Technology4Good Awards, a unique event organised by AbilityNet and BT that celebrates the hard work of the many businesses, charities and individuals that use technology to make the world a better place.
They were also voted the winners' winner at the Awards Ceremony and have gone on to celebrate this success with a record-breaking year. They now provide equipment and support to all 44 children's hospices in the UK, serving around 7,100 children and their families.
