We were proud to encourage our supporters to take up the CaptainTom100 challenge from 30th April-3rd May to celebrate the life of Captain Sir Tom Moore. His family encouraged us all to carry the torch and raise money for our chosen causes by taking on our own fundraising challenges. The caveat was that the challenge must feature the number 100, so whether it was walking 100 steps or 100 miles, everyone could join in and raise funds for Lifelites. Two members of our team took part, Pamela cycled an incredible 100 miles and Sam mastered the skipping rope and achieved 100 skips. You can still support them via our Virgin Money Giving page here.
This month we visited Martin House in West Yorkshire to donate a magical package of assistive technology. Their package was filled to the brim with fun toys, including items such as the POD sensory tent. We really enjoyed our visit, which also involved installing the equipment and training the fantastic staff who work there. We can't wait to hear stories about all the magical moments we know our tech helps to create!
