It was wonderful to see the BBC report on how the Microsoft Xbox adaptive controller was used by Rory Steel to build a Nintendo Switch controller for his nine-year-old daughter Ava and his five-year-old son Corben who both have hereditary spastic paraplegia which affects motor controls and speech.

Lifelites has been donating Microsoft Xbox adaptive controllers as part of the packages of technology that we donate to support children at every children’s hospice service across the British Isles. With the pledge of support from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Jersey Lifelites we will soon donate a package of life-changing technology to support the life-limited and disabled children using Jersey’s hospice services.
