Our chief executive Simone Enefer-Doy is embarking on a 2,500 mile challenge to visit 47 famous landmarks in England and Wales in just 14 days.
For each leg of the journey, she will be getting a lift from supporters in a weird and wonderful variety of transport. Just a few confirmed so far are a Rolls Royce, DeLorean, McLaren, Horse and cart, Zip wire, Canal boat and a Jaguar E-Type.
This eclectic mix of transport will be taking her to landmarks such as Hadrian’s Wall, the Angel of the North, Brighton Pier, the Radcliffe Camera, Blackpool Tower and Bletchley Park.
She is taking on the challenge to raise awareness of Lifelites and is hoping to raise £50,000 to help support the work we do donating and maintaining assistive technology for children in hospices.
An outline of her route plan can be found here.
