Today Lift for Lifelites crossed the border into Wales. Simone and her support team were given a warm welcome by the North Wales Freemasons on their arrival in Llandudno and were treated to a trip along the Great Orme Tramway – the only remaining street cable car in Britain. Luckily the mist cleared to reveal beautiful views of the coast. They also passed some wild goats in the street, helping themselves to whatever the residents gardens had to offer. After getting off the tram, Simone was presented with a surprise lift – a 1954 Green Goddess fire engine. Before leaving for her next stop, Simone was presented with a cheque for £2,000.
After lunch, Simone headed to West Wales, and the stunning medieval Pembroke Castle. She was greeted by James Ross, who handed over a donation of £2,500 on behalf of the West Wales Freemasons.
Just two stops today, but both beautiful – Wales is certainly putting on a show for Lift for Lifelites Returns!
