Out of this world

Simone started the day at the National Space Museum in Leicestershire, where she was met by the first lift of the day – a Bentley provided by the local Freemasons.

The second stop of the day was Pappelwick Pumping Station in Nottinghamshire, where Simone was greeted by not one but two spectacular vehicles: a classic Austin and a Morris Minor panda car. There was also a large welcome party of Nottinghamshire Freemasons and Lifelites very own chairman, Mike Woodcock.  Before setting off for the next stop in Derbyshire, Simone was presented with a cheque for £750.

Simone was given the full ‘back to the future’ treatment for the next stop at the Heights of Abraham cable car experience, with a real live Delorean! Derbyshire Freemason and DeLorean enthusiast Chris Parnham drove Simone to her next stop in Yorkshire.

The final stop of the day was the Elsecar Heritage Railway in Yorkshire, where Simone was fully kitted out in a boiler suit and hat to play the part of train driver with a ride on the footplate. The local Freemasons also generously presented Lifelites with a cheque for £1,000.
