Simone began day eight in the grounds of the beautiful Shugborough estate in Staffordshire, a Georgian mansion surrounded by vast grounds and ancient woodland. She were met there by local Freemasons in a buggy who showed the team around the beautiful grounds and also showed them Essex Bridge, which is the oldest toll bridge in England. We also had a special guest in Staffordshire - our north-based trainer, Katherine!
From here Simone made her way to the British Motor Museum in Warwickshire. They she was met here by David Macey, head of the local Freemasons, who presented Simone with a cheque for £1,000 before giving her a lift to the next stop in his 1999 Jaguar.
The final stop of the day was the Avoncroft museum in Worcestershire, a unique site which is an open air museum of over 30 historic buildings which have been relocated there. Simone were greeted by members of the local car club with an impressive selection of cars. There was a Porsche 911, a Morgan, a Jaguar and an Audi TT.
