A-Z of fundraising ideas

Would you like to fundraise for Lifelites but are stuck for ideas? Take a look through our A-Z of ideas and hopefully you’ll find some inspiration!

Afternoon tea - Invite friends round for afternoon tea and charge them to come along. Why not put on some entertainment as well?

Board games evening – Gather all the board games you have, the good, the bad and the ugly, and charge friends to come to your games evening. You could also sell food and drink.

Clay Shoot - Always popular to test everyone's shooting skills.

Dance – Dance the night away for Lifelites! You could have a themed disco, such as 70s or ballroom, or invite performers.

Easter egg hunt – Hide Easter eggs around the house, the office or the school and charge people to take part. Maybe the Easter bunny will have time to attend as well?

Golf Days - Calling all Club Captains! Get your community together and head for the fairway for a charity golf day for Lifelites. Just make sure you avoid those pesky bunkers!

Halloween party – Any Halloween themed event is a great fundraiser, just don’t scare your guests away!

International evening – This is particularly fun when Eurovision is on! Ask them to bring some international cuisine, dress up and play games.

Karaoke – Are you brave enough to get up in front of your friends and sing your favourite anthem?

Ladies that Lunch - What better excuse than fundrasing for Lifelites to get the girls together and have a catch up.

Murder mystery – Like Cluedo, but in real life! Sell tickets for dinner, ask people to dress up and come up with an elaborate story.

Nineties night – Hire a venue, line up the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys and get everyone to dress up.

Overdress for Work Day – Ask your colleagues to pay a small forfeit to come into work in the poshest or wackiest combinations they can think of.

Parachute jump – Are you brave enough?

Quiz – Choose general knowledge or come up with any theme you like – music, film, food?

Run – No matter how far you can run, there’s always something for you. Look for fun runs, half marathons, full marathons, or even ultramarathons.

Show - Organise a Classic Car Show in your local area, hire out a green, fire up the engine and judge who you think is best in show.)

Talent competition – Gather the most talented people you know and invite them to compete in a talent show

Uniform free day – Have a mufti day at your school

Our Patrons

Our Patrons support our vision, mission and values and give all of their time for free. Their contribution and support is highly valued.

The technology we donate

Lifelites aims to harness the power of technology by donating a wide variety of assistive and inclusive equipment to enhance the lives of life-limited and disabled children using hospice services.

For these children with complex cognitive and physical impairments, this technology is quite simply magical. It gives them opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise have to join in with the world around them, irrespective of their disabilities.

Providing these opportunities is only possible because of the donations that Lifelites receives.

We have two new additions to our magical technology package! Click below to learn more about the Tilt Table and the PODs Sensory Tent!
