Madison using the Magic Carpet at Bluebell Wood.
In March 2021 we returned to Bluebell to provide them with new life-changing technology. This included the POD, a mobile and sensory pop-up tent that offers room for every child, irrespective of their abilities. It comes in a rucksack so that hospice staff can easily take it wherever the children are in the hospice or in their own homes.
But we still need to raise funds for the vital ongoing training and technical support we provide so that the children can continue to make the most of every moment.
Judith Bentley, Head of Care at Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, says:
“The technology Lifelites has donated over the years has been immensely popular with our families and our care team, and I have no doubt whatsoever that the new donations will be a huge hit.
“A big thank you to Lifelites and their amazing supporters for helping us to make a real difference to the families we support.”
We are also raising funds for the next package of technology which we aim to donate in 2025.
