This Lancashire based children's hospice first received a donation of magical technology from us in 2000 and we delivered the latest package in 2018. Throughout the last 20 years, we have provided free technical maintenance and training for hospice staff.
This year we will visit the children and young people there with a whole host of brand new assistive technology which they can use to play, be creative, control something for themselves and communicate, for as long as it is possible.
The equipment we have donated previously has been hugely popular with the children and young people at Derian House. Here is what some of the staff have said:
"The touchscreen computer is probably the most popular piece of equipment we have because of the wide range of games. Our young people also love playing with the games consoles, it's a major part of their lives and enables them to keep in touch with their friends outside of the hospice. The camera is constantly in use as it enables to record lasting memories for families. Thank you Lifelites!"
Would you like to give kids with limited life unlimited possibilities?
We have plenty of opportunities for how you can get involved and help us raise funds so we can continue donating life-changing technology to children with disabilities and life-limited conditions. Have a look!
There are a number of challenge events held across the country which you can apply too to raise money for Lifelites. Please see below to a list of some of the most popular.
We need your help to provide 13 children's hospices across the British Isles with new projects in 2020/21.
We provide our magical technology to children and young people using every children's hospice service across the British Isles. Every four years we provide a brand new package to each hospice, and this year we hope to donate to the hospices listed below.
