Lifelites provided a new package at Charlton Farm in 2012. We still need your help though - we never walk away from a hospice but do continue to provide technical support and training.
Charlton Farm was one of our Flights of Fantasy projects and Carl Joy, CHSW Practice Educator at Charlton Farm was really excited about the prospect of the children he works with getting to 'fly' their first plane.
He said: “This fantastic new equipment will bring lots of smiles to the children visiting Charlton Farm.
"Many of them will never have the opportunity to travel in a real plane, let alone pilot one, so this will be an amazing experience for them. At CHSW we are committed to making the most of short and precious lives and this equipment will certainly help us to do so. We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has made this donation possible.”
We work with each of the three Children's Hospice South West sites.
We provided a brilliant new package to this Devonshire children's hospice in late 2013. We're still working with them to make sure the care team are confident using the specialist equipment and the children are getting the most out of their package.
We last installed a new package at Little Harbour in 2011, but we're still working with them: providing ongoing training and technical support at no cost to the hospice.
We hope to install a new package in 2015.
We provide our magical technology to children and young people using every children's hospice service across the British Isles. Every four years we provide a brand new package to each hospice, and this year we hope to donate to the hospices listed below.
