Alexander Devine Children Hospice Service provides essential support to families of children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across Berkshire and the surrounding counties and currently cares for over 150 children and young adults.
The hospice aims to open up opportunities for children and their siblings to experience fun, joy and adventures, and help families make precious memories for as long as they have. Lifelites supports their efforts by providing the latest assistive and inclusive technology.
Catherine Northup, Play Specialist at Alexander Devine said:
“The support and all the equipment we are receiving from Lifelites is unbelievable. We just wouldn’t be able to do this without them. All the adaptive and specialised electronic equipment they are providing really opens up a whole world the for the children and young people whom we support and allows them to have fun, communicate and express themselves in so many ways. What adds to all this is the exceptional training and ongoing support that Lifelites gives us, it really gives us the confidence to use the amazing equipment and resources to their full potential.”
We will donate a package of life-changing technology but still need to raise funds for the vital ongoing training and technical support we provide so that the children can continue to make the most of every moment.
