Some of the new magical technology donate to Rennie Grove in October 2021
As part of the new package provided to Rennie Grove Hopsice Care, Lifelites has donated a special portable bundle of technology, to assist in giving care to children out in the community. This special bundle, known as the Tech Trunk, can travel wherever the children are, whether that’s in their own home or in hospital. It includes accessible gaming equipment such as the PlayStation and Xbox with accessible controllers, so every child can play with their friends, brothers, and sisters.
Following our latest donation of assistive technology in 2021, we aim to continue to providing ongoing training and technical support; making sure our equipment is well used and in good working order for the children at Rennie Grove and cannot do this without your help.
Sam Howard Director of Nursing and Patient Services at Rennie Grove, said: “Having access to the kind of equipment Lifelites donates is a huge benefit to the children we care for, but also for our staff, as it gives them a chance to develop a better understanding of how they can support these children. Our children get so much joy from being able to play and be creative just like their brothers and sisters, in spite of their often complex and debilitating conditions.
We are so excited to start using the new pieces of technology that we have received from Lifelites."
