Lifelites is the charity that donates assistive technology for life-limited and disabled children using every children’s hospice services across the British Isles. Our aim is to partner the children’s hospices in giving these children – irrespective of their abilities – the chance to play, be creative, communicate and control something for themselves, for as long as it is possible.
Lifelites Charitable Projects Committee meets approximately four times each year and is focused on providing challenge and assessment of the charity’s activities and technology developments.
To assist us in our task of deciding how best to support our hospice partners and which technologies are going to have the biggest impact in the future, our Charitable Projects Committee is seeking two new members, who can bring their experience of using Lifelites equipment, either at a children’s hospices or at home. They could be hospice staff, volunteers, or family members receiving care or psychosocial support. In striving for balance, we are looking to recruit women and/or members of the BAME communities. We would be delighted if any of the new committee members would have an interest in developing into the role of trustee.
If you are interested in this role, and would like more details, please email Chief Executive Simone Enefer-Doy at firstname.lastname@example.org or give her a call for an informal discussion on 0207 440 4200.
