Lifelites would like to announce that, after serving as Chair of Trustees for seven years, Mike Woodcock has stepped down from the role.

Mike became a Lifelites Trustee in 2008. During his time on the Board, Lifelites has established itself as an essential player in children’s palliative care, now providing the latest assistive technology for every children’s hospice in the British Isles.

Mike leaves Lifelites with a strong foundation and the Board wish to place on record their grateful thanks to him for his dedicated service.

The Board of Trustees have appointed one of their number, Tony Harvey, as interim Chair, pending a recruitment process to identify and appoint a longer-term successor.  Tony has been a Lifelites Trustee since January 2022 and played a key role in the development of Lifelites’ ambitious new five-year strategy.  He brings a wealth of experience in the charity sector, and a particular focus on strategy, good governance and communications.
