When: Sunday 3rd September
Where: ArcelorMittal Orbit, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, London E20 2AD
Are you ready for a challenge? The exhilarating ArcelorMittal Orbit abseil is the UK’s highest freefall abseil, and you have the opportunity to do it for Lifelites!
The giant 262 foot sculpture in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park provides breathtaking views of the city’s famous skyline, including The Gherkin, St Paul’s Cathedral, Canary Wharf and Wembley Stadium.
The abseil is freefall, meaning that participants descend down a rope without the use of a wall to slow you down. It’s certainly not for the faint hearted!
You will be provided with all the specialist equipment you need and given a comprehensive safety briefing by a trained professional instructor.
So if you are a thrill seeker, want a challenge or are even just looking to combat your fear of heights whilst raising money for a worthwhile cause, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
There are limited spaces available for this activity. For more information, please contact us on email@example.com or 0207 440 4200.
Please note: This experience is only for those aged 14 and over. Young people aged 14-17 will need a signed parental consent form before booking.
There are a huge range of fundraising events you can organise on our behalf – from coffee mornings and race nights, to golf days and gala dinners.
Whatever you decide, we're always on hand to help.
We're a small charity with lots of opportunities - whether you're looking for a day raising funds, an hour helping with a mailing or some more work experience we'd love to hear from you.
Every donation helps us to do more. Take a look at how you can become a Lifelites champion in 2017.
