Lifelites

A history of Lifelites

Following a generous one-off contribution from the Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys, Lifelites started out as a pilot project in 1999 with the idea of providing education and entertainments’ technology for life-limited children in hospices.  Since then, our work has expanded to meet the growing demand from the mushrooming network of children’s hospices serving around 5,000 children and their families.

In order to sustain what we now see as our obligation to the hospices beyond the initial pilot, and enable us to address the requirements of all new hospices, Lifelites was launched as a charity in 2006 giving us the opportunity to fundraise to sustain our services.
