Cause related & affinity marketing

Cause-related marketing is defined as "a commercial activity by which business and charities or causes form a partnership with each other to market an image, product or service for mutual benefit." (Source: Business in the Community, 2004)

Cause-related marketing includes event sponsorship, sales promotions or a donation of money, goods or services. It is not a philanthropic activity but a commercial activity with a measurable return on investment.

87% of employees whose companies have a cause-related marketing programme feel a strong sense of loyalty to their companies (Source: Cone/Rope).

58% of marketing directors agree that a cause-related marketing strategy provides companies with the opportunity to address business objectives and social issues at the same time (Source: Business in the Community).

Affinity marketing

Affinity Marketing is the marketing of a third party's product or service to a group of individuals linked by a common interest. It uses the affinity they have to generate additional sales for the third party, as well as the entity hosting the group interest.

At Lifelites we have relationships with a select number of companies who help us generate income in this manner.

If you are interested in an affinity marketing campaign in partnership with Lifelites, do please give Simone a call on 0207 440 4200.
