Self-assess your tax efficient giving

Some taxpayers who complete a Self Assessment Tax Return form are entitled to tax refunds from the Inland Revenue – including any Gift Aid.

Taxpayers can now donate some or all of any refund they get to a charity of their choice. The Inland Revenue will pay the money directly to the charity.  We will also get basic rate tax relief on the sum.

Taxpayers choose the charity to which they wish to donate by writing a code in the relevant box on the form. Lifelites' code is MAA08JG.
